I write and edit features and other web content for the Institute of Design and I provide one-on-one support helping individuals develop their writing and digital publishing practices. I also teach online writing and publishing in DePaul University’s MA/MFA in Writing and Publishing program.

Digital strategies that engage audiences: I restructured the Institute of Design’s content approach to showcase their impact, and I led a content redesign for the Poetry Foundation, earning a 2019 Webby Award for best nonprofit website. 

Grow audiences: I helped increase monthly traffic to the Poetry Foundation’s flagship website by over 40% to over 5.5 million monthly visitors.  

Demystify digital strategy: I coach and support professionals on the core principles and practices of digital publishing, from content and data practices to accessibility and SEO.
